BLACKPINK has officially been nominated for Best K-Pop at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards with “JUMP.” Fan voting is now open, giving BLINKs around the world the opportunity to support Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa ahead of the ceremony.
MTV announced the nominees for the 2026 VMAs on August 18. BLACKPINK’s “JUMP” was selected as one of the six songs competing in the Best K-Pop category.
The group faces a strong lineup consisting of BTS’ “SWIM,” CORTIS’ “REDRED,” KATSEYE’s “Pinky Up,” LE SSERAFIM and j-hope’s “SPAGHETTI,” and Lisa’s solo track “Dream.”
The category is particularly significant for BLINKs because BLACKPINK and Lisa are both represented. “JUMP” gives the four-member group another opportunity to add a major MTV award to its global record, while “Dream” recognizes Lisa’s continued success as a solo artist.
Fans can vote directly through MTV’s official Best K-Pop voting page. Each person can submit up to 10 votes per category every day during the general voting period.
According to MTV’s official voting rules, voting remains open until September 25 at 5:59 p.m. ET. BLINKs are therefore encouraged to return daily and use all their available votes to support “JUMP.”
MTV will also organize daily Power Hours from August 20 through September 24, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:59 p.m. ET. These special periods provide additional voting opportunities. For fans in France and most of Central Europe, the Power Hour currently takes place from approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:59 p.m.
A final Double Day is scheduled for September 25 before voting closes. MTV may change these promotional periods, so fans should continue checking the official voting platform and the VMAs’ social media accounts for updates.
All votes must be submitted manually. Automated voting through bots, scripts, macros or other programmed tools is prohibited under MTV’s rules and may result in disqualification.
The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 27. The ceremony is scheduled to air on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the United States.
To support BLACKPINK, visit the official page, select “JUMP,” submit your votes and return every day before the deadline.
