The FIFA World Cup 2026 is almost here.
With the tournament set to take over the United States, Canada, and Mexico, billions of football fans are preparing for what could become the biggest World Cup in history.
But for BLINKs, another question has started appearing online:
What are the BLACKPINK members doing during the FIFA World Cup 2026?
The answer is surprisingly exciting.
While Lisa is officially becoming part of FIFA World Cup history, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo are also continuing some of the biggest individual projects of their careers.
Let's take a look at what each member is doing during one of the world's biggest sporting events.
Lisa Is Officially Part of FIFA World Cup 2026
There is no bigger BLACKPINK story connected to the World Cup than Lisa.
In May 2026, FIFA released "GOALS", a global collaboration featuring:
- Lisa
- Anitta
- Rema
The song quickly generated massive attention online and introduced Lisa to an audience far beyond the traditional K-pop world.
But the music video is only the beginning.
Lisa is expected to perform "GOALS" live during the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony in Los Angeles, placing her in front of one of the largest global audiences of her entire career.
That moment alone is historic.
Very few K-pop artists have ever been connected to official FIFA World Cup music projects.
Even fewer have performed at opening ceremonies.
For BLINKs, watching Lisa represent not only BLACKPINK but also an entire generation of global artists feels incredibly special.
Why Lisa's FIFA Moment Matters
The World Cup is different from any music festival.
Different from Coachella.
Different from award shows.
Different from fashion events.
The World Cup reaches people who may have never listened to K-pop before.
It reaches casual viewers.
Families.
Football fans.
Entire countries.
For many viewers, the opening ceremony may become their first introduction to Lisa.
That level of exposure is difficult to overstate.
And it proves once again how far Lisa's global influence has expanded.
Jennie Continues Her Solo Dominance
While Lisa prepares for FIFA, Jennie remains one of the busiest stars in entertainment.
Following her successful solo projects and global fashion appearances, Jennie continues expanding her influence across:
- Music
- Fashion
- Luxury brands
- International media
As a Chanel ambassador and one of the most recognizable faces in fashion today, Jennie remains a constant presence in global culture.
Many fans are already anticipating new music, additional performances, and major appearances throughout 2026.
Even when she isn't directly connected to football, Jennie continues making headlines around the world.
Rosé Remains a Global Fashion and Music Icon
Rosé's influence continues to grow far beyond the music industry.
As one of the most recognizable ambassadors in luxury fashion, she regularly appears at major international events and campaigns.
Her unique artistic identity has made her one of the most respected figures among both fans and fashion critics.
Many BLINKs are still hoping for additional solo music and live performances throughout the year.
And with Rosé, surprises are always possible.
Whether it's a new song, a major collaboration, or a fashion moment that dominates social media, she consistently finds ways to capture global attention.
Jisoo Keeps Expanding Her Acting Career
For Jisoo, 2026 continues to showcase her versatility.
The BLACKPINK member has steadily expanded her acting career while maintaining her position as one of Dior's most important ambassadors.
Her ability to move between music, television, fashion, and international events has made her one of the most complete entertainers in Korea.
During the World Cup period, many fans will likely continue following both her acting projects and her public appearances.
And after making her Met Gala debut earlier this year, Jisoo has shown that she is continuing to reach new milestones globally.
BLACKPINK's Global Influence Extends Beyond Music
One reason BLACKPINK remains so fascinating is that every member now operates in a different world.
Lisa is reaching sports and global entertainment.
Jennie dominates luxury fashion and music.
Rosé blends artistry and fashion influence.
Jisoo continues building both her acting and fashion legacy.
Yet somehow, all four continue to strengthen the BLACKPINK brand together.
That is something very few groups have ever achieved.
Could We See More BLACKPINK and FIFA Connections?
The success of Lisa's FIFA collaboration naturally raises another question.
Could more BLACKPINK members become involved in future football events?
Nothing has been announced.
But considering the group's global popularity, it would not be surprising.
Football organizations increasingly understand the power of music, social media, and fandom culture.
And few fandoms are as global as BLINKs.
The reaction to Lisa's involvement alone has demonstrated how much excitement exists when BLACKPINK and football collide.
What BLINKs Should Watch During the World Cup
As the FIFA World Cup 2026 begins, BLINKs will have plenty of reasons to tune in beyond football.
Keep an eye on:
- Lisa's opening ceremony performance
- FIFA content featuring "GOALS"
- Behind-the-scenes footage
- Social media reactions
- Potential appearances connected to the tournament
- New updates from Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo throughout the summer
The tournament may belong to football.
But for many BLINKs...
Part of the excitement will be watching Lisa shine on one of the world's biggest stages.
Final Thoughts
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest global events of the decade.
And BLACKPINK is already part of the story.
Lisa will represent the group on football's biggest stage through "GOALS" and the opening ceremony.
Jennie continues dominating fashion and entertainment.
Rosé remains one of the most influential artists of her generation.
Jisoo keeps expanding her global presence through acting and luxury fashion.
Different paths.
Different projects.
One legendary group.
No matter where the World Cup takes us this summer, one thing is certain:
BLACKPINK will never be far from the spotlight.
