BLACKPINK’s Halloween, Decoded
JENNIE stepped into a street racing movie.
JENNIE stepped into a street racing movie.
JENNIE stepped into a street-racing movie. JISOO brought an anime heroine into the real world. LISA looked ready to emerge from the deepest, darkest part of the ocean.
BLACKPINK’s Halloween 2026 delivered three transformations with completely different visual languages. Their photographs are fun to scroll through, but the details become more interesting once you recognize the references: the colors that identify JENNIE’s character, the silhouette that makes JISOO unmistakably Lucy, and the textures that turn LISA’s mermaid into something unsettling.
And ROSÉ? We checked for her, too. As of November 1, we could not verify a public 2026 Halloween costume for ROSÉ in the sources reviewed. That distinction matters when older photos and fan edits can travel beside new posts.
Here is the guide to the looks we can identify—and what makes each one work.
JENNIE as Suki: The Colors Tell the Story
JENNIE’s reference is Suki, played by Devon Aoki in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Her appearance at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween and birthday celebration was followed by photographs she selected for her own Instagram, as documented by PAP Magazine.
The purple cropped top and vivid pink lower half establish the connection immediately. Long, straight hair and a statement silver belt buckle strengthen the early-2000s styling.

The car photographs add another layer. The actual vehicle in those images is a red Honda, so it should not be confused with a claim that she posed with Suki’s exact movie car. It supplies the street-racing setting while the outfit supplies the character reference.
That is the clever part of the look: a few strong signals carry the entire identity. Purple, pink, sleek hair and automotive scenery make the homage readable before anyone explains it.
For BLINKs who love JENNIE’s styling, there is plenty to revisit here: how the pink pieces frame the silhouette, how the metallic buckle catches the flash, and how the purple top holds the whole palette together.
JISOO as Lucy: Cosplay Built Around the Face
JISOO chose Lucyna Kushinada, better known as Lucy, from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. StarNews reports that she shared the cosplay photographs on October 31.
Her pale silver-and-pink bob is the first clue. The blunt fringe, longer face-framing sections and sharp eye makeup concentrate attention around her gaze. Glossy black clothing, red accents and a light jacket complete the futuristic styling.

The lighting does useful work, too. Teal and pink reflect across her wig and clothing, connecting the portrait with the character’s futuristic world. A close-up is enough to communicate the costume because the hair, eyes and color choices do so much of the storytelling.
There is also a timely musical connection. Thai gaming outlet Sheapgamer reports that her Lucy Instagram clip uses “ADDICTED,” released the previous day, as its soundtrack.
That places her Halloween transformation beside her newest solo release. It is a crossover that anime fans and BLINKs can both appreciate—without assuming that the costume reveals an official collaboration or a hidden music-video storyline.
LISA as a Dark Siren: The Costume Changes the Whole Silhouette
LISA’s transformation reaches beyond hair and clothing. Her mermaid tail changes the shape of her body in the frame, while dark scales, claw-like nails and dramatic makeup establish a creature rather than an everyday fashion look.
Her Halloween images were shared with a mermaid emoji, while related material used the phrase “Siren’s calling…”. Allkpop documented the October 31 reveal.

Look closely at the photograph: the tail’s reflective ridges, the wet-looking hair and the placement of her hands all contribute to the atmosphere. The aquatic setting makes the transformation feel inhabited, as though the creature belongs there.
The strongest detail is the contrast between beauty and danger. Recognizable mermaid elements remain, but the darker styling changes the mood from romantic fantasy to something eerie.
“Dark siren” describes that effect. The sources reviewed do not establish a specific named film character for this 2026 costume, so assigning one would go beyond the evidence.
What About ROSÉ’s Halloween Costume?
We have not verified a public Halloween 2026 costume for ROSÉ at the time of this article. A November 1 roundup also distinguishes the three costume reveals from the absence of a ROSÉ reveal.
That tells us about the material available publicly, not how she spent the evening. Jokes about her sleeping through Halloween should remain jokes, and an older costume photo should not be presented as a new appearance.
This guide can be updated if a dated, identifiable post becomes available. Until then, keeping her section clear is more useful than completing a four-photo collage with the wrong year.
Three Ways to Make a Halloween Look Memorable
JENNIE builds recognition through color and cultural memory. JISOO uses character-specific hair, makeup and lighting. LISA transforms silhouette, texture and atmosphere.
Those are three different reasons to return to the photographs. One rewards movie fans, another invites anime comparisons, and the third makes you inspect the costume’s construction.
There is no need to turn them into a competition. The pleasure is seeing how far apart their choices are—and still recognizing the personality each member brings to the image.
Suki, Lucy or a dark siren: which world would you step into for one night? 🖤🎃
