Late August and early September 2026 are shaping up to be an extraordinary period for BLINKs. Within just a matter of days, three members of BLACKPINK—Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo—are launching major new chapters in their solo careers, creating one of the group’s most concentrated solo-release periods to date.
Jennie opens the sequence with Fallen Angel on August 28, followed shortly afterward by Lisa’s SaWaDiKa on September 3 and Jisoo’s CLICK on September 4. Although each project has its own identity, the three rollouts collectively highlight how differently the BLACKPINK members are building their individual artistic worlds beyond the group.
Jennie Leads the Wave With Fallen Angel
The first release arrives from Jennie, who is set to release Fallen Angel on August 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM KST / 12:00 AM EDT.
Released through OA Entertainment and Columbia Records, the project is presented as a concise three-track digital EP. It follows Jennie’s 2025 solo album Ruby while bringing together several songs that have become particularly anticipated throughout her 2026 activities.
The tracklist consists of:
- FALLEN ANGEL — Title Track
- HEAVEN
- Less than a Lover — Pre-release Single
The project gives fans the opportunity to officially hear FALLEN ANGEL and HEAVEN, two songs that had previously been previewed during Jennie’s 2026 festival run. It also includes Less than a Lover, her July single that became an important part of the buildup toward the EP.
Rather than functioning as a completely separate chapter from Ruby, Fallen Angel feels like a continuation of Jennie’s evolving solo identity. Its compact three-track format allows the project to focus on a small group of songs while extending the atmosphere and musical direction established during her recent solo era.
With Jennie releasing first, the countdown to BLACKPINK’s next wave of individual projects officially begins.

Lisa Says “Hello” With SaWaDiKa
Just six days after Jennie’s release, Lisa takes over the spotlight with SaWaDiKa, arriving September 3, 2026.
The song serves as the lead single and first major introduction to Lisa’s upcoming EP PRESS PLAY, which is scheduled for release on October 23.
Following her 2025 debut solo album Alter Ego, PRESS PLAY represents another significant step in Lisa’s global solo career. The project has been framed around her Thai heritage, personal journey, and transformation from K-pop superstar into an increasingly international artist.
SaWaDiKa is also tied to the wider “Hello Sawadika” global campaign, giving the release a cultural identity that connects directly to Lisa’s roots.
The full tracklist for PRESS PLAY has yet to be revealed, but SaWaDiKa establishes the beginning of the promotional era. Instead of unveiling the entire project at once, Lisa is using the single as an introduction to what fans can expect when the EP arrives in October.
The timing also places the song within a particularly busy period for Lisa. Her upcoming documentary Always Lalisa is connected to her international schedule, while her Las Vegas residency VIVA LA LISA is set to take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November.
For Lisa, therefore, SaWaDiKa is more than simply another single. It is the opening chapter of a much larger global rollout.

Jisoo Brings the Mystery With CLICK
One day later, on September 4, Jisoo will continue the rapid-fire solo schedule with CLICK.
Unlike Jennie’s short EP and Lisa’s lead single for an upcoming EP, Jisoo’s release serves as the pre-release single for an even larger project: her first full-length studio album.
The album’s official release date has not yet been announced, although it is targeting fall 2026. The project will be released through BLISSOO and represents a major expansion of Jisoo’s solo discography following her 2025 mini-album Amortage.
The rollout has already generated intrigue through an atmospheric promotional website featuring an abandoned “FUNLAND” carnival setting and a mysterious countdown. The eerie visual direction suggests a noticeably different mood from Jisoo’s previous solo work.
CLICK is accompanied by a cinematic music video filmed in Bangkok and directed by Joseph Kahn, adding another international dimension to the project.
Jisoo has also indicated that her upcoming album will explore a broad range of musical styles and genres. That promise makes CLICK particularly important: rather than simply being another standalone release, it is the first glimpse into the musical world of her first full-length LP.

Three Releases, Three Different Directions
What makes this period particularly exciting is that Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo are not simply releasing music at the same time. Each member is entering a different stage of her solo career.
Jennie is expanding the world established by Ruby with Fallen Angel, bringing together previously previewed material and a recent single into a compact EP.
Lisa is beginning an entirely new promotional cycle with SaWaDiKa, using her Thai identity and international career as central elements of the upcoming PRESS PLAY era.
Jisoo, meanwhile, is preparing for her biggest solo musical project yet: a full-length album. With CLICK, she is opening the door to an era that promises greater stylistic variety and a darker, more cinematic visual identity.
The three approaches demonstrate the increasingly distinct artistic identities the BLACKPINK members have developed individually.
A Rapid-Fire Calendar for BLINKs
The schedule is remarkably tight:
- August 28 — Jennie: Fallen Angel Jennie officially begins the wave with her three-track digital EP.
- September 3 — Lisa: SaWaDiKa Lisa launches the promotional campaign for PRESS PLAY with its lead single.
- September 4 — Jisoo: CLICK Jisoo follows just one day later with the pre-release single for her first full-length album.
- October 23 — Lisa: PRESS PLAY Lisa’s upcoming EP arrives, expanding the world introduced through SaWaDiKa.
- Fall 2026 — Jisoo’s Full-Length Album Jisoo’s first studio album is expected to arrive later in the season, with the official date still to be announced.
This means BLINKs are not simply getting three releases in quick succession—they are being introduced to three separate eras that will continue developing throughout the rest of 2026.
The Post-Ruby, Alter Ego and Amortage Chapter
The timing also makes these releases significant within the broader evolution of BLACKPINK’s solo careers.
Jennie’s Ruby, Lisa’s Alter Ego, and Jisoo’s Amortage each established different approaches to their identities as solo artists. Their upcoming projects now have the opportunity to build upon those foundations.
Jennie’s Fallen Angel continues her exploration of a polished, personal solo sound. Lisa’s PRESS PLAY expands her international identity while placing her Thai heritage closer to the center of the narrative. Jisoo’s forthcoming full-length album takes her beyond the mini-album format and opens a larger musical canvas.
Rather than competing for the same artistic space, the three projects show just how broad BLACKPINK’s individual creative spectrum has become.
BLACKPINK’s Solo Era Continues to Expand
The concentrated release schedule is also a reminder that BLACKPINK’s identity as a group and the members’ individual careers can coexist.
While BLACKPINK remains one of the biggest names in global pop, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé have each continued developing individual careers across music, fashion, acting, business, and international entertainment.
That makes every solo comeback feel like a different piece of the larger BLACKPINK story.
For fans, however, the immediate priority is simple: August 28, September 3, and September 4.
Three members. Three releases. Three completely different eras.
Jennie will open the door with Fallen Angel. Lisa will follow with SaWaDiKa. Then Jisoo will press CLICK and begin the journey toward her first full-length solo album.
Late summer 2026 is officially becoming a BLACKPINK solo season—and for BLINKs, the countdown has only just begun.
