The fans pressed play—and voted for LISA.
The BLACKPINK star’s new EP, PRESS PLAY, has topped Billboard’s weekly favorite new music poll, adding a reader-voted win to its release week.
The six-track project arrived on October 23, alongside the “Tarantino” music video, following the earlier release of “SaWaDiKa.”
Two Polls, Two Fan-Voted Wins
The Billboard result is separate from another vote organized by InMusic on X, where the publication reports that PRESS PLAY collected 92% of votes.
In that poll, the EP finished ahead of Dove Cameron’s “Do The Math,” K/DA and collaborators’ “Firestarter,” and Kacey Musgraves’ “Weekend In Texas.”
The 92% figure belongs to InMusic’s poll—not Billboard’s. Both results reflect the preferences of people who participated; they do not represent sales, streaming totals or a Billboard chart position.
A Release-Week Moment for the Whole EP
For BLINKs and Lilies, the result offers something different from another individual-song milestone: listeners selected PRESS PLAY as a complete release.
“SaWaDiKa” introduced the project, while “Tarantino” brought its cinematic identity into focus on release day. The polls now give fans another way to celebrate the music—and a reason to explore beyond the singles.
Six tracks, two fan-voted wins, and plenty for LISA’s listeners to discuss. Which PRESS PLAY song deserves the next spotlight? 🖤🎬
